College basketball is full of mysteries.
How many fouls can three refs possibly call in a 40 minute game? Will people ever stop complaining about the decline of the Big East? Who the hell is Bob Jones?
But none of these trumps the greatest question in the collegiate hoops landscape:
Does Bill Self wear a toupee?
Sure, he leads one of the best programs in the country. 10 consecutive Big 12 championships (won or shared). He’s a good coach. Yada yada blah blah.
But what’s he got going on up there? Let’s have a look-see.
Hmmmm. Certainly seems like there’s some room under there.
What, uh…what exactly is going on in the back there? Is that little flip even his hair? Is any of it?
Yeah, my thoughts exactly. But we’re still going to need a couple more angles.
Oh, sorry. Let’s get back on topic.
Wait, maybe it’s not. Let’s give him some benefit of the doubt. What did he look like when he was younger?
Hold on a second. That’s a pretty decent tuft of hair. Maybe we need to look at something between then and now.
Oh, dear.
Final Verdict:
If you’ve made it this far, congratulations. Feels good, doesn’t it?
